220 (Rankin County) in the FXFL whatever the hell that is. Looked at the rosters of the 4 teams (yes 4) and saw another MSU player listed Kyle Auffray TE 6'5 254 but I don't remember that name.

So Auffray reads The Pack, which one of you is him? From the article "Sylvester Croom was the head coach there and Dan "MULLENS" from Florida came in...

So, Does 'anybody' remember ...

Never heard of him before today.

Kyle Auffray? Three articles and his bio indicate that he 'signed' with State & Croom as a QB; was injured and left to play at New Hampshire.

One story says he dislocated his knee, had surgery, found out he wasn''t in the QB picture and transferred to NH. (Mississippi State transfer Auffray finds happy ending at UNH - He was a scholarship quarterback in the best college football conference in the country, but Kyle Auffray was miserable. http://www.seacoastonline.com/article/20101120/Sports/11200334 )

This story says ..."Before joining New Hampshire, Auffray was a quarterback at Mississippi State (2006-2007)." (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/06/09/patriots-sign-tight-end-kyle-auffray/

This article says he left when Dan came in ... (http://cover32.com/2014/04/18/kyle-auffray-hopes-to-ride-unconventional-road-to-the-nfl/)
Auffray, a 6-foot-6, 252-pound tight end from Cornwall, N.Y., began his collegiate career as a quarterback on scholarship with the Mississippi State Bulldogs. But Auffray soon found himself on the outside looking in following a dislocated knee during his first few months on campus.
With four quarterbacks above him on the depth chart, Auffray knew it was time to look elsewhere for an opportunity to see the field and carve his path to the NFL.

“There was a coaching change,” he said. “Sylvester Croom was the head coach there and Dan Mullens from Florida came in and he was more of an option-running kind of guy. I wanted an opportunity to compete for playing time, so I decided it would be best for me to transfer to a school where I could get on the field and play some football.”

His Bio on the NH Wildcat site lists ... • Joined the UNH football program as a quarterback following two years at Mississippi State University

  • Attended Mississippi State University in the 2006-07 and 2007-08 academic years
I can't find him listed anywhere in a single media guide or signing article from 2006 - 2010. Seems like a lot of creative writing to me.

No way he was ever on scholarship. He's not listed in our 2005 or 2006 signing classes and he's not listed on the roster at hailstate.com for either of the years he says he attended MSU. I saw one article that said he came to MSU on a half-football / half-academic scholarship which is ******** because there's no such thing. My guess is he came to school here, tried to walk on the football team and got cut.

So he started at QB and became a TE, and yet implies he wasn't a fit for the option system. Yeah, not buying.
