They think they have to drive to the ball or score every time they touch it. And Raven J. She had her years but she is awful at both ends. Totally different that in years past - down by 22 points at halftime at home - allowed 45 first half points mainly due to wide open threes or wide open layups while only scoring 23 points in two quarters. Awful BB on both ends

My biggest gripe is - did any of the coaches watch the last few games UConn has played ? They have been playing small except for Strong and we definitely weeent prepared for that

This team has definitely been a part of history - lost to UCLA to snap our 40 something game win streak - lost to Texas to snap our SEC win streak and no lost to UCONN to snap our home win streak

Defensive is what lost this game - tons of layups and tons of uncontested 3s - we also played really poor offense but when we do that - we usually play solid defense which makes up for it and that didn’t happen in this game - oh well - can’t change the outcome - can only get back in and focus - I do however believe it’s time to quit the seniors starting every game when the bench is where all of your offense comes from - build for next year cause your senior line up let this game get out of hand

The women’s team is not playing with the same defensive intensity. UConn was playing lights out defense and that translated into confidence on offense. Our women’s team seems to be playing big games with a little bit of tentativeness when it comes to shooting. If they miss one shot, then they don’t take the open shot the next time down. To me that’s a lack of confidence. They need to pick it back up on defense. So now they can either get pissed off or they can start doubting themselves. Tessa has practically disappeared.

Paopao, Tessa, Kitts, and Bree Hall have completely disappeared this season. Paopao is particularly sad to see—Dawn trying to get her ready for the WNBA has actually hurt her. She’s really just a 3-pt specialist. Raven is a detriment to the team; bad bad bad shooting, and the leadership is poor. This team is rudderless and that’s on Dawn. Something is off.

Dawn needs a physical center which we’ve had over the past decade - she thought she was getting it in Walker at 6’5 and the JC player of the year but man she has to be one of the biggest flops Dawn had signed - Edwards is gonna be a force but I’m not sure Tac can develop quick enough

my starting five from here out would be Fulwilly, Paopao, Kitts, Edwards and probably Feagan or go small with Tessa Johnson - Raven can’t hit a shot and tends to throw the ball away way too much.

Connecticut did everything that South Carolina didn’t do. They were hitting shots from the perimeter, they played solid defense, didn’t allow us to drive the lane and were rebounding under their basket. All of that should’ve been apparent to Staley by the end of the first quarter. They’re playing like they have no heart. Total apathy.

How many seniors do we have? Really feel we need some tall, physical players under the basket. Our rebounding significantly went down this year. There are a few players that really do not add much to the team…so far. I am not sure if Dawn would encourage them to transfer…she seems pretty loyal. It is hard to not be in the elite…but I really don’t think we are this year. We are good…just not great. Still love our team and coach. The teams are all just continuing to get more competitive.

If you're Dawn do you send a message to.your starters and bench them? Aside from Pao Pao the starting was bad today. Do you try a new starting lineup? It seems the current starting corp starts off slow and forces the team to dig out of a hole against the top tier teams.

This is the most glaring weakness. Everyone who beats us has a strong big. Some of them have two. This is like clemson without a generational QB.
