Lafayette @ Poquoson - Thoughts?

I just don't see Poquoson being able to score enough on Lafayette's defense...in fact, they may not score at all...not trying to be disrespectful, just stating what I think will happen. The Bull Islanders have been known to play the Rams tough over the years, and they'll be up for the challenge, but I say Lafayette wins, 24-7....

I'm going to agree with that score. Lafayette is very good. I predicted early in the season Poqouson would go 8-2 in the regular season, and the worst loss by score would be to Smithfield instead of Lafayette. Smithfield beat us 20-0. Lafayette is much better than Smithfield, but I still think this one is closer than that.

24-7 Lafayette. If we can pull a W or make this a very very close contest, that is a very, very good sign for us. I think Lafayette would beat Appo (very, very close game). In summary, we will not face a better football team in 2017 better than the "machine" we are about to play this weekend. If we even make it close, it reinforces my opinion and my opinion only, that the Bull Islanders are going to Salem.

If not for the weather and mistakes, I think the Smithfield game is much closer, but that's football...credit to the Packers.

I haven't seen Lafayette this year, as I usually wait for the playoffs, but their defense seems to be nasty...the Rams might be the best opponent any 2A team has faced this season.
