For some reason they picked this date. Four days prior to Lafayette’s toughest game of the year, Poquoson and makes 3 games in 8 days. So 1/3 of the regular season in about a week. Didn’t make use of that open weekend due to Bruton, 9/28. The first game of the three is Jamestown, maybe push to end it by halftime and rest everyone. The Poquoson game for reasons unknown to me is on Saturday at 1 pm. Very odd timing. What a crazy season.
Lafayette/Warhill now Tuesday October 23

The game is being played on a Tuesday, why not the Tuesday after the open 9/28 weekend for Lafayette with Bruton so it’s only 2 games in a week rather than three and avoid a key game with Poquoson on short rest? Warhill one way or the other is going to have to play 3 games in a week regardless and it is Lafayette’s call as a home game. With this schedule we do play on the prior Friday Jamestown while Warhill plays a very tough York squad. Of course the forecast tomorrow here at 7 pm is total sun, no wind and 82. Go fiqure this out.
Tonite in Williamsburg, sunny and 81 and the two teams sit home. Another premature decision to cancel without all the data.
