For the second game in a row key mistakes cost Westfield a win. This time WF led 23-14 with just over 4 minutes to play and still lost, 29-23. After a missed tackle gave LB the opportunity to pull within two at 23-21 with just over three minutes remaining in the game, failure to fall on the ensuing onside kick gave LB a chance to win the game - and they did.

LB opened the game with a quick drive highlighted by a 46 yard Jackson to Huyhn pass before Holmes scored from 2 yards out (Thorley XP) to go in front 7-0 at the 9:27 mark of the first quarter. WF then started their drive on their 20 yard line and reached the LB 11 yard line where a 4th and one running play was stopped for no gain. LB then went three and out, but WF's Lee returned the punt 57 yards to tie the game at 7-7 (Batchala XP) with 1:42 remaining in the first quarter. The next three possessions were a LB punt, WF punt, and LB punt. WF's Johnson then fumbled on the WF 20 yard line and LB took advantage when Holmes scored again, this time on a four yard run, and LB was up 14-7 (Thorley XP) with 5:18 remaining in the half. WF was forced to punt on their next possession and after LB's Barravino returned the kick 27 yards to the WF 33 yard line LB would reach the WF five yard line before they were stopped. LB attempted a 22 yard Thorley FG but the kick was blocked by WF's Cardenas and scooped up by WF's Fernandez and returned to near midfield. WF managed to reach the LB 23 before Batchala kicked a 40 yard FG to pull WF within 14-10 with 35 seconds left in the first half.

WF received the second half KO and reached the LB 22 yard line where another 4th and one run was stopped to turn the ball back over to LB. LB got one first down but then punted to give WF the ball on their own 35 yard line. WF got 30 yards of offense to reach the LB 35 yard line where the faced a 4th and three but this time WF successfully converted on a 5 yard pitch play. WF's Carlson then found Lee for a 34 yard TD pass and WF was in front 16-14 (Batchala XP hit the upright) with 11:16 remaining in game. LB started their next drive at their own 42 yard line after a 41 yard KOR by LB (Thai?). Converting a 4th and one at the WF 49 yard line LB then failed to convert a second fourth down play, 4th and seven at the WF 44 yard line, and WF took over. WF was unable to move the ball so they elected to punt and Batchala's punt rolled out of bounds at the LB two yard line. LB's possession lost about a yard and a half and they were forced to punt from the back of their end zone. The punt was partially blocked and WF's Lartey scooped up the ball and went 10 yards for a TD. After the Batchala XP WF now had a 23-14 lead with 4:15 remaining in the game. Time for the LB heroics and two key WF miscues: LB started their possession at their own 27 yard line and ran one play for a short gain. Jackson then found Hibner down the middle and Hibner broke a tackle just inside WF territory and took it all the way to the WF five yard line for a 61 yard gain. Jackson then found Barravino for a 5 yard TD pass (Thorley XP) and LB was within 23-21 with 3:12 remaining in the game. LB then sucessfully executed an onside kick and took the ball down the field behind the passing of Jackson, who added in a few runs, before Jackson executed an eight yard jump pass to Hibner with 43 seconds left in the game. LB went for a 2XP and Jackson's pass found Holmes for the final score of 29-23. WF fumbled on their final possession deep in their own territory with a few seconds left in the game (LB's Blaylock recovered the ball).
