Big night for the Lake Norman Wildcats. First playoff win since the school opened was last week. Then they advance into the third round with this win. Lake Norman won in a very exciting game to end the season against previously unbeaten Mooresville. They seem to be getting more momentum as the games continue.

Very few Lake Norman fans are on Preps so little is discussed about their success. Josh Ladowski is one the best talents I have seen in the western part of the state in many years. The kid is physically tough and has a great set of wheels. When he tucks and runs he picks the right holes and fears nothing up the gut. Add the fact the kid has an unreal arm. Sixty yard bombs are a common thing in a game. Add to the fact his receivers will fight for every ball. Its hard to pick the kid off because of the tenacity of the receivers like Joyner.

I saw in the paper where Ladowski had an interception last night. Is there anything the kid doesn't do? The kid must have a cape under those pads.

Lake Norman plays Hough next week in a second meeting of the season. Hough pulled out a close win to put the only blemish on LKNs record. No doubt Hough has the team to make a longer run and definitely made a statement Friday night putting an end to Independence's unbeaten record.

After leaving the Mooresville vs Lake Norman game if you are attending this game next week you may want to bring a set of cards or Scrabble for after the game. You're not going anywhere if the same amount attend as in the Mooresville game.

Ladowski stats this week: 234 yards, 4 TDs rushing...........15 of 23 for 204 yards, 2TDs passing, Total 438 yards...and 6 TDs... 1 interception on defense as well

Certainly you don't believe the best athletes are selected for the Shrine Bowl? I don't know if he had a desire to play in it or not. If he did and he was not selected then the system is flawed. Two years of ridiculous numbers and leadership. The kid could play a number of positions on a football field. He is pure athlete with some serious determination.

Its not what you do in life sometimes but who knows what person. Mimics life in general.

I have mentioned his name throughout the year on a couple threads because I have had a number of championship ring children and watched thousands upon thousands of sports games, and Ladowski is one of the best all around football players, and athletes for that matter, I have seen in a number of years. I wish the kid had been a wrestler as well at LKN. He would have been a great one on at one of the best programs in the state.

The kids at Lake Norman know as long as he is around you have a chance. You can almost smell it on their sidelines.

Show me someone in the Shrine Bowl who was more impressive for two years. Then in my opinion he simply got screwed. Period.
