A massive renovation where the grandstands are completely torn down and rebuilt on the same spot would be equally as good to me as building a new stadium.

There is nothing wrong with the playing field aside from some grass issues- which is not the norm for us. The LFL is what it is.

We could definitely do some really nice things and save some money by not having to spend money on things that aren't a problem.

There does come a point where the cost of renovations might be right up there with the cost of a new facility.

quick google search shows...

Alex Box - $26mil
Blue Bell Park (Aggies) $24mill
Trustmark Park - $28mill
The cocks - $35 mill.

I like the Dude as much as the next guy, but I'd be the first in line at a brand new park. I'm sure the cost of those parks does take into account local infrastructure, land and playing surface, which we would already have with a tear down and build back renovation.
