I think running QB’s in general are hard to get it done with. So injury prone. Allen’s been lucky so far but he hasn’t won anthing either though I think the Ravens have had better rosters.

Only a matter of time before the injuries hit allen. Roquan Smith pretty much tried to break his neck yesterday. NFL: “fine, one game suspension, all is well”.

They all seem to have pretty short shelf lives. Once those legs go, they better be good as a pocket passer, and the problem is almost none of them are. Its like John Wall's shooting woes: he spent most of his development being able to take the ball to the rack, so why bother shooting it much?

Josh Allen is just a different beast. He doesnt have that "cheetah" like running ability. Hes just a tank. He will slow down eventually, but he doesnt need to run for 15-yards on broken plays. Josh cam still get it done as a pocket passer and still move around when needed.

But yeah hes also gotta start winning when it counts.

Reminds me of cam newton trajectory he was an mvp and before you knew it he was a shell of himself

Not most overrated, hes got some special talent that keeps him relevant.. but man, hes got a lot of Kyler Murray in him, and now that hes older, getting banged up, and losing some of that magic with his legs.. the weaknesses are glaring.

I think his decline is going to be stark and fast. I mean we are watching it now. Crazy to think at one point people thought he was better than Josh Allen. I guess a few years ago you could make thay argument, but I always sort of side-eyed Lamar's ability to be a QB, IF his legs are kept in check and hes stuck in the pocket.
This. He’s a heck of a QB and an elite athlete. We’re seeing what happens to these running QBs after years of taking hits. He’s getting older and banged up.

Yeah hes got some Cam and Ben to his game. But Cam was a bit of a headcase and refused to grow with the game, and Ben could take a beating like Josh but never had that mobility.

Josh Allen might be my favorite athlete ever, certainly currently. I think hes the best QB in the league regardless of the rings, and when you watch him every sunday, most of the time your blown away by what he can do. I love watching him. He also might have the worst defense of any star QB i can remember (Peyton had some bad Ds).. the Bills are basically telling him he has to score 30+ or theyre gonna lose.

Henry ain't no spring chicken anymore.
Derrick Henry won back to back rushing triple crowns in 2019 and 2020. Since then he has ranked outside of the top 2 among rushing leaders in total yards for the season only once (2021)... He has a very realistic shot at passing Emmitt Smith all-time and being one of the best ever. Casually downplaying what he done the last few years is hilarious, and with a rushing QB on top of that.

Me thinks you need to understand what I meant by that. He's 32 years old. He's still a great back but 32 year old RBs are on the downside of their career but can still produce. 6 RBs in the history of the league have rushed for 1000 yards at age 32. Three have done it at age 33. John Riggins did it at age 34 and age 35.

Most overrated of all time? No. That’s silly being a 2x league MVP and all.

I know he’s the second best QB in his division and is third in playoff wins in his division
