Shame. Always liked Doron. Not anymore.
Wow. What tasteless comment. the Cal Cult really was real. Deluded into thinking UK isn't bigger than Cal.
Let him and all the other Cal worshippers follow him to Arkansas……
Kentucky is bigger than Doron lamb we won plenty before him, glad we can get back to the university of kentucky now!! instead of a nba feeder
Love lamb and always will, would’ve never won the championship without him.
I mean I get being loyal to your coach. I totally do, but to post that. Just ignorant. Like we didn't win before Cal. Goodness.
Dude had a higher three point percentage than IQ. Par for the course here.
Really strange people don't know how to Google... lots of years on that kentucky wiki for tournament success before Cal got there. Not many years on there from last 5
Be ready for Boogie Cousins to come out with another "The Don/The GOAT" post, as well.
Be funny as hell we hire the right coach and win it all next year, big fu to cal and his cult…
I wonder if he realizes that was 12 years ago which is not acceptable
Yeah, this brand had to change. It was the Cal show.
Right, he can and should support his coach to some degree, but the shot at UK as a whole was not needed. It's as if he doesn't know what UK is.
Think he git it backwards. He was but won’t be in the future.
Just a dumb comment all around. 2012 was a long *** time ago. Cal lost his mojo and we moved on. There is only one person to blame for it.
Not gonna **** on him. He gave us his all in his two years. Some just don’t understand that this program will always be bigger than the coach.
Man that sucks. I don’t understand the hate.
Yep, dude was huge in the title game.
Ah thanks for the title but fk you..
Some of you might remember that Lamb took a shot at Cal a few years back that was squelched quickly. Some people like to pop off at the mouth.
It's almost like he had a Coach who made it all about himself, while telling the players it was about them, and didn't trach them anything of the history and tradition they were playing for...
Why is it totally normal for a guy with a championship in football to get fired but it's somehow not okay in basketball to want one to leave?
Belichick won six Super Bowls- pushed out
Mike Shannahan, Tom Landry, Mike Ditka
In college- Ed Orgeron, Les Miles, Gene Chizik, Larry Coker
But in basketball it's like "Ohhh no!"

This is fine. Most of those dudes came her only because of Cal and they are loyal to him.
He helped UK win a title so no hate from me.

Understandable, his players will come to his defense. Is what it is. I get that.
First time I’d heard from Lamb in years. Doesn’t mean much in the scheme of things.

Meh, we’ll have a couple weeks of stuff like this and then it’ll blow over. I liked Lamb, but has he really done much with UK since 12? He probably likes grabbing some attention right now.
Cal cult is a tumor on this program. These contingent were the minority. But had the majority not woken up, we would have became IU no doubt about it.
Just furthers the point that Cal players are Cal players before they are Kentucky players.
Maybe he meant in the Cal era .
Dumb to say history though
Dumb to say history though
It was always and forever about the players not UK they could have cared less about Kentucky UK it’s money and facilities were simply a steppingstone for their pro careers. We got used and abused, and unfortunately many were gullible and fail for it. I was one of them until 2015.
This is the culture Cal created when he recruited and coached these guys. Appreciate what Doron and the others did but he won't be the last of "Cal's guys" to say something like this. They weren't sold or educated on the history of our program. Cal convinced them all he (and they) were bigger than the program.
I hate to break it to you, but all of his players will think this.
Unsure how it's a much different delusion than the ppl on here that think Reed would stay if Pitino came in

Calipari is leaving UK Doron. We can argue between the lines but it will go down n history as a voluntary resignation for other employment.
And, blissfully ignorant. To make that comment about a school that has won championships in 5 different decades, with 5 different coaches is next level obliviousness. But, Lamb would know this if Calipari had ever given one f***k about the program & its history & had actually educated & sold his players on it. Instead, they were clueless & made to believe that it’s all about them, which led to one misinformed player wanting Rupp’s name removed from the arena.
