Congrats to him. Steve Taylor was awful as a sideline reporter. Hopefully they find someone better than that for the gig. Guess the PA job is open again.

I listened to BE on the radio doing a Brewers game a few years ago. He was solo in the booth. Not sure if that was the norm or not that season, but it was painful to listen to. He's getting up there in years and it was showing.

He's better suited to adding colorful comments these days probably than having to carry the whole broadcast. Hilarious guy. Great great career opportunity for Grindle.
