I hate losing Lane. He was one of the only wide-outs that was tall and the staff didn't land any tall wide-outs in this class... So I guess back to the "Itty-Bitty Committee" at wide-outs (The good old days of Baul, Muhammad, & Dixon). But of course that worked well for an option team, not sure how it works in a pass friendly offense.

Welcome to Big Sky Country! I read his letter and it didn't say anything about what academic program he is in, or what he will be pursuing at Missoula. Just curious.

They threw 57 times against North Dakota St. Their record last year was 9-5. He can catch it if they throw it his way.

Probably looking to get his Masters in backpacking and Arctic Grayling fishin. I know spot or two for that in Montana.

That is the beauty of living in the mountains of Montana. I wouldn't change my decision to move here for anything! Especially with the big ten network available! GBR!

Great state getting over-run with Californians. Still way too many beautiful places and trails I haven't hiked there.

I check a few off my list every month. If you want some off-the-beaten-path suggestions within a 100 mile radius of Helena, let me know!

Helena is a fer piece for me. I'm probably getting too old anyway. Sitting on the deck at Jackson Lake Lodge in the Tetons drinking Crown is probably getting to be more my speed. I would love to re-visit the Spanish Peaks Wilderness some time. Haven't been there in 30 years. I've hiked in Wyoming mostly for the past 25 years.

I was surprised when I saw this today. Happy for him, not sure of a better school at that division for a wr to play at. I look forward to watching him play a few times this fall. Some big changes going on in Missoula.

I was on the back side of the Tetons at Gran Targhee last month, on the Idaho side. Beautiful place and will be heading back after the snow melts, in late July!

Ten minutes south of Helena. All three species present, but timing of licenses and pulling a moose tag would be a challenge.

Yea I know moose is a tough one. I would love to get an elk and a big old cinammon bear to make a rug out of!

Can't help myself because I love Montana... but for those of you of the nerdier persuasion, MisCon freakin rocks. Went in 2015 and met Terry Brooks (he who wrote Shannara) and got like 30 signatures from him (what can I say... I had a collection that's much cooler now) and 25 or so from other authors like Steven Erikson. The whole weekend was one of the most fun I've ever had. For whatever that's worth. And yes, most of the state is gorgeous. Some of the towns need some major help though (Butt, er... Butte comes to mind... and I'm being very kind calling it Butt). Billings is rather nasty too.

Lane should well under Stitty. It will be a fun offense for him to play under.

He wasn't going to be playing much at all. Best of luck to him.
