The schedule only had 9 or 10 regular seasons in the Vaught/Bryant era, and a much lower chance of going to a bowl. Regardless, Kiffen has done well.

Kiffin is a good coach and he’s the right guy at the right time. But it’s basically pointless to compare across eras, but especially pre and post integration.
I’d also put tubberville up there, though granted he mostly proved how good he was elsewhere.
