how in the FUC K does John Wall not get call for crossing the free throw line on that intentional miss??????? Go F your self Kentucky.

I remember walking into the area for the opening game between the Dallas Stars and the Buffalo Sabers, after the no call on Brett Hull's skate in the crease. There in 10 foot tall letters was a banner at every entrance that said NO GOAL!, how about a lane violation banner at the Hump?

At the time, a player was allowed to be in the crease if he had possession before entering the crease. Hull had possession of the puck with both feet outside the crease. He then kicks the puck to his stick (which is outside the crease). The foot that kicked the puck goes into the crease (puck still outside the crease). Then he shoots and scores with a foot in the crease - and he's allowed to do so because he had possession before entering the crease.

What exactly is the rule for a guy coming into the lane that is outside the three point line? I know the people right outside the lane have to wait until the ball is released but what about people that are in a position like Wall was?

There is no way that this loss can be blamed on a missed lane violation call. I'm sorry but we had our chance to win and we missed THREE free throws one of which was a front end of a 1 and 1 when we were up 5 to close out the game. Make those free throws and none of this even matters. They are called free for a reason.</p>
