Can't blame him for wanting to play for a good coach. Not to mention a program that has actually made the Final Four in the last 15 years.

According to our hopefuls, he and Hood were a super secret MSU bound duo. Ooops. According to Scout, we weren't even in Ross's final 3: Ohio State, West Virginia, and Baylor. Anybody think that recent NCAA tourney success doesn't matter? The "Recruiter" is slipping badly.

Which recruit is next to migrate north or east? I hear Ga Tech's coach is trying to raid our coupe also. How can the man not recruit Atlanta? No Adams, no Ross, what's next Hood to Ga Tech and O'Bryant to LSU?

I have watched this kid play a number of times on the big stage, against top-notch competition and he is not tough at all. He can't bang with the big boys. The same thing that happened to Scotty Harellson (from Provine) will happen to him. Harrelson played sparingly at UCONN and then transferred to Tulsa, simply because no one in Mississippi wanted him (except maybe JSU). Ross will never hit the floor at Ohio State and he will be a transfer to some smaller school in a couple of years. We better not lose Hood and Adams still may come to us, because he will also never play at Duke.

for a long time.. Ross get bringing us up but we passed on him a long time ago due to a lack of a true position and he might have problems like Sidney.

Half of our delusional fanbase would have gladly sat Ravern or Kodi for the rest of the season to play a 6'3 Phil Turner at the 3 or 4.

I'm glad we are now so loaded that we can pass on four star shooters that are 6'7 because they lack a "true position".

Ross had stars in his eyes from a few years ago andhad AAU "advisors" flocking to him. I think our coaches backed off and focused elsewhere.

I think we REALLY need to get Hood. And maybe there's a chance with O'Bryant - i don't know what's going on there.

HolyHell. Ross wont hit the floor at TOSU? Really?

I havent seen anything to suggest he is like Harellson.

As for not being able to bang with the big boys, he is a thin wing player. Oh the horror that he cant bang with the big boys. Next you will fault centers for not being able to guard out on the perimeter.

Ross is a wing player but is very lazy and is a liability on defense. We were never high on him for the reasons that I stated earlier. He simply can't take a TOUGH coach in his face. Thad Matta may perceive to be nice to him now, but when practices become tough, he will look elsewhere to transfer. He has done it all his HS life up to now.

You aren't suggesting Stansbury is an in your face coach are you?
