you could hear the Black and Gold to the Superbowl song playing. Does anyone know if that was played over the PA system? I died out laughing because all the players on the Saints sideline started dancing.

the whole team started breaking down. I couldn't hear the music but knew what had to be playing. Hilarious

my buddy said . . . "It was awesome. The best part was they didn't play a song when the Colts scored."

I wasn't there, so I defer. However, my friend didn't seem to notice a song being played for the Colts after they scored.

ETA: Technically, I don't think they played the "Black and Gold to the Superbowl" version. He said they played Ying Yang's Halftime (Get Crunked). If you google it, you will see that this 5 or 6 year old song is played in multiple NFL stadiums, but the Saints took it to a new level this year. Further, they had local artists making it the Saints own by changing the lyrics/song.

They played Ying Yang twins (Stand Up and Get Crunk) before the kickoff after every Saints score -- just like in the Dome. Except it was an abbreviated version. And they played the second line song pretty much every time the Saints scored.

They played that "I don't wanna work" song after the Colts scored -- not sure if that was every time or if that's even what happens in the Colts' stadium.

Another thing -- Saints fans are just exponentially more interesting than any Colts fan. Wow. Midwesterners.

I think it was -- I can't remember exactly for various reasons, but they played a bunch of Saints/Nola related music we're used to all throughout the game.

Awesome awesome experience.

I must say, as old as that stadium is in Miami, it wasn't noticed one bit.  The sound system was cranked so loud (and sounded amazing) after scores and yes, Black and Gold definitely got the fans fired up.  It is no wonder that 3 out of the last 4 Super Bowls have been in the state of Florida and I think 4 of the last 6 have been as well.  Weather and local attractions for reason #1 but #2, Miami really knew how to put on a weekend event.  This is one city you wanna witness the Super Bowl.  <div>
</div><div>I honestly didn't know how many true "Who Dats" would be present at the game from Nawlins, but there were many.  Saw one guy steal a trash can with the Super Bowl logo on it walking back to his car...  </div><div>

The event was well-done. Even the public school buses loading up fans and taking them to South Beach at the end of the game for free...nice touch.

I saw a post about the fly-over being mistimed... it was fine. There was no issue there at all. Fireworks, halftime show, etc. I thought it all was pretty awesome.

And then most of the time, it was simply a football game going on down on the field. I never felt like I was just at an "event" and not at a football game. Every once in awhile I'd look up at the Super Bowl logos, the security and event staff (thousands), and be reminded: "We're at the freakin' Super Bowl!"

The whole thing is still surreal to me.
