Tie ballgame. Under a minute to gn the kickoff return, the Bama guy pulls a Jameon Lewis and catches it and runs outat the one yard line.Inexplicably, the ref throws a flag and spots the ball on the MSU 20 yard line. A 79 yard penalty and I go on to lose the game on a last second TD.

How in the hell did the programmers know to put the Dead Indian curse in the game?

Was that the Dead Indian curse or were you just in SEC Alabama refs mode? You need to check your settings.

I had it set on "Real World Mode". I also noticed where Ole Miss was trying to get a transfer from the Tecmo Bowl Joe Montana to play quarterback on the game.

I have no clue. It flashed "flag on the play" then went straight to spotting it on the opposite 20 without any explanation. It did not have the usual accept or decline menu. I got a morbid kick out of it.
