I can't believe no one has mentioned last nights match between Nuno Borges and Tommy Paul. I guess most of you were probably sleeping! ;)

Wow, what a match! Almost 4.5 hours. I started watching when Nuno was already down 2 sets.

Even though he lost, he showed some serious grit and took Tommy Paul to a 5th set. I have not really watched him before that I recall, but he's a really good player. The last 3 sets were great tennis. Even the last point was fantastic. It was a really enjoyable match to watch. Anyway, I'm now 100% a Nuno Borges fan.

I watched some of the late 1st & early 2nd set. Tough loss in the 1st. Nuno is unfortunately just outside the top 32 ranking needed to avoid top players in the 3rd round of a major. But he’s not someone they particularly want to play that early either.

My wife loves tennis and watches a lot. She stayed up and watched.....said it was one the best she had ever seen.

The MSU coach was apparently there and was coaching Nuno for the tournament. They also mentioned him during the broadcast.

Yes, it was definitely one of the most enjoyable matches that I have watched and I've seen a lot. I forget which set it was but Nuno hit a between the legs shot after Paul hit one behind him somehow and he ended up winning that point.

He has a nice all-around game and is very good at the net with a really good forehand. Hopefully, he can continue to move up in the rankings.
