Please read FreeDawg's article. It is spot-on concerning the 2012 season. The only disagreement I have with his argument is that it isn't 20/20 hindsight. At least on SPS, it was a weekly talking point. I draw the conclusion that FreeDawg did not: the coaches were not committed to putting the best team (excluding disciplinary actions) on the field.

This decision became more obvious as the season progressed. I hope that they have remedied this problem. Now, if the coaches can put some X's n O's together to maximize our personnel, 2013 will provide some exciting games.

Good stuff. I read the BDC recruting update and the grade risk one too. On the defense article, every bit of that makes sense. I am also anxious to see how much Deshea T helps our secondary reads, balls playing ability, and how much more ofter they are in position to make plays. We need him to be a dark horse coaching star.

By 20/20 I meant that its easier to diagnose now. Many were complaining individually about Wilson, Cherrington, etc... When you really put the whole picture in front of you it's sobering. We were a rag tag, mix and match bunch and the product on the field proved it.

I really want you to be right. Last years defense was embarrassing. After watching the Troy game I knew we weren't stopping anyone.
