Ok so here's the latest on Whittingham:
I live in Provo, about 30 mins south of Salt Lake, so I've been stirring the pot a bit to find something solid on Whittingham. Unfortunately, not much luck. However, their current defensive coordinator just left for the job at Utah State, which many people think will make it more likely that Whittingham has discussed he desire to move on.
However, I have a source ( I know, I know, but I wouldn't ******** you) who says that he has made it very clear, as recently as today that, he won't be leaving this year despite his name being thrown around for the jobs and MSU and UW.
Take that for what it's worth. I for one would love to see him in Starkville, but I think it's a little more bleak now.
