Have no fear in any of the teams projected in our regional, and just as much, could see Auburn upsetting NC State in their regional opposite ours, which would put the Super in Starkville.

I would also. All beatable teams in our regional. Also, NCState has Mercer and Auburn in their regional (possible trouble for them), not to mention they're a beatable super regional opponent.

USA seems to be a lock as #2 in the Starkville regional

Been in that slot for most analysts for a while.

The biggest thing to watch is which super we face. If it's NCState, Florida State (If they sneak in a host spot), or Indiana, I'm thrilled.

Oregon, Virginia, and Cal State Fullerton would also be acceptable.

UNC or Oregon State would be unacceptable.

I'd rather have Oregon State than Cal State Fullerton

Oregon State lost series to:

#46 San Diego
#102 Washington
and possibly #159 Washington State

Cal State Fullerton did not lose a series. I think they are a darkhorse for the national championship.

Also, watch for Ole Miss to be a 2 seed in the regional opposite ours. Ole Miss could win that regional and set up a super regional that would break every attendance record known to NCAA baseball, forever. Oregon, Oregon State, Virginia, Florida State, NC State - all places that Ole Miss could end up.

Talking heads now saying good chance the ACC gets 4 nat'l seeds...

If that's the case we'll likely be paired with FSU or NC State.

Do NOT want. Absolute hose job on a 4-seed. This is one of the ones with a legit ace that could beat anyone in the country on any given night with this guy on the hill.

Agree. This looks like a Samford situation except from a pitching standpoint rather than a hitting standpoint.

That guy is a first rounder.

Do not want to see East Tennessee. Geography probably has them headed to Blacksburg. They are about 2 and a half hours from Virginia Tech. And watch out for the Buccaneers if they go there.

Jackson State is certainly a good possibility. They meet the 400-mile rule, and Starkville is harder to get to than Baton Rouge. With no Texas regionals, I expect UTSA to end up as the 4 seed at LSU. Saint Louis is another possibility for a 4 seed in Starkville that I don't want to see. (Wichita likely headed to K-State, Valpo to Indiana and Bowling Green to Louisville)

If South Alabama is our 2, which seems to be all but official, we will have a major conference 3 seed. Georgia Tech, Miami and Oklahoma State are all possibilities. We won't get a Sun Belt and a Big South 2/3. Those kind of draws are reserved for the Vandys, UNCs and LSUs.

I do expect Ole Miss to be the 2 seed at the national seed opposite of us. That's why Miami makes sense as a 3 with USA as a 2 opposite Florida State.

If us and FSU win, we travel to FSU.
If South Alabama wins, its a easy trip for them to Tallahassee.
If Miami wins, its a in-state ACC Super. They like those.
If Ole Miss wins and we win. All. The. Attendance. Records.
