Kettle Run will give LCA all they want on Saturday. The Cougars have an explosive offense. Will they have enough to knock off LCA? I’d like to see it happen. I am pretty sure there has never been a high school team from Fauquier County that has won a state title

I understand how you feel but I also think any fan should want their favorite team to line up across from the Bulldogs, shut down their offense and return 2 (but nearly 3) pick sixes for touchdowns and beat LCA in the championship game leaving their coach to whine in his oatmeal and honey bunches of oats during the postgame on field interviews where he refuses to give your favorite team any credit for beating him. Not saying it happened like that but... you should want it to.

The only team from Fauquier to ever get the a title game for Football was Kettle Run in 2022.
We spoke to Mr. Robinson with the VHSL and I thought he said they no longer have a multiplier. I don't mind privates and publics together, but I do think all privates should have a permanent multiplier and have to play up as I think it neutralizes some of the advantages they have. I live in FL and it's mixed here. Though the privates generally have a monopoly on the lower divisions since their isn't that multiplier. I believe there was discussion of it happening.
Technically they should be Class 2 though. They opted to stay in Class 3.
