3 QB sneaks on 4th down, and now you go for it on 4th down and 4 and you call a QB sneak again...

call on the fake punt against LSU. He snapped it to the upback in punt formation. The upback was a slow *** DE. He needed about 6 yards and didn't even get the corner.

bear a strong resemblance to those old women who ride shotgun in the covered wagons in those old "going west" movies.</p>

This is the very first college bowl game I've been able to bring myself to watch. And I wish that I hadn't.

A QB sneak with 4 to go? Against THAT DL? From your own 35? When only down by 10 minutes into the 2nd half? Just damn. TT looked like they gave up after that stupid call.

That call reminded me of Spurrier at Florida. Spurrier was used to seeing his offense roll up and down the field and when it (seldomly) didn't happen he'd get frustrated and make some desperation calls.

Also stupid was the play action sack from TT's own 1 yard line. Play action? Who's gonna respect a play action from throw-the-ball-every-play TT?

I can hear it now - some AD looking over his resume "Wow Mr. Leach, this is very impressive - you've got a lot of winning seasons and a history of great offenses. Oh wait.... you're the idoit who went for it on 4th & 4 from your own 35 yard line with 9 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, only down by 10 with one of the most explosive offenses in the NCAA? That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen in college football."

Did you see the center crawling on his knees trying to block? It's like he dove forward, and then realized he had about 2 yards left. I could not believe what I had just saw. And on the safety - why was Harrell up under center? You take snaps in the shotgun all year, but from their on one, he goes up under center and runs a play action? Very Croomesque coaching.
