when you're on 3rd base with no outs, you've got to be sure the ball is going to get past the pitcher before you try to score.

But in that situation it didn't matter too much because the batter was able to get into scoring position anyway... granted a WP would have gotten the runner home from third... but eh... didn't matter

I just checked Live Stats and see that I screwed it up anyway. With no outs Goforth grounded out to the pitcher, then with one out Adkins hit it to the 3rd baseman who threw Collins out at home. I'm OK with that. It was an agressive play, but not foolishly agressive.
