1. Bench Shapen and play both KT and Kromenhoek. If they don’t have a grasp of the offense now, they never will. Heck both look to be athletic enough to be in the game at the same time.
2. Focus on the positives, you have great specialist, great RB room next year.
3. Spend some $$$ in the offseason on OL and DL. They are the weakest points of our team, they need to be the strongest.
4. Learn from your mistakes.

We don't know who will be on the team. We need money for o-lineman and d-lineman.

Krom screwed up transferring out of FSU.

At msu, He could have a game with 4tds and 380 yards and people would complain because he isn't from Macon.

Shapen played about as good as he could. He just couldn't overcome the stupid bone head defensive plays and coaching decisions. I blame the loss on defense, special teams, and coaching.

It’s north of 500k, 750 ? if he’s redshirting you may as well have taken 750 k outside and burned it on the sidewalk. Money could have went to an O lineman or pass rusher , and you could have signed as good or better of qb next year.

We tried that BS last year boomer. If we do it, better be investing in guys we KNOW we will be able to retain.

Maybe he's not playing them because he saw how we lost Van Buren to a higher bidder. Nobody is really going to be interested in our backup QBs this off-season.

players still want to win. we could be in a "much better place" and still be dead last in the SEC in NIL
We aren’t dead last in the SEC. It doesn’t matter how much money other teams have. Players aren’t going to go sit on the bench at other schools when they can start here. We have enough money to offer what everyone else does to the frontline guys and get difference makers.

you never know what is going to happen when you sign someone. shapen or anyone is one play away from being out for the year, it happens every year and you still have a game the next week. next year it will be the same thing we will pay someone to be on call whether or not is Krom or Taylor or someone else.

We can still get bowl eligible, as unlikely as that seems. You don't tell a team that has taken two ranked opponents to OT that it's it time to quit.
Exactly. That’s quitters mentality. Would Nick Saban ever “play for next year?” He could have his 1st year at LSU & Alabama.
