There’s no getting anyone ready to replace Whitson. He’s looked like the difference maker this dline has been missing

Hibbler has been a big disappointment so far. I thought he'd be a contributor.
And, to make matters worse. Looking at stats, we have only 3 sacks so far this year. Whitson has 2 of them. So if we thought the pass rush last year was bad..........
And I just learned his name. That's it. All players are just numbers on a field from now on!
Yep, no way to sugar coat this - he, Jones and Smith are probably the guys that we just simply can't replace at all on the D. It radically changes what we can expect going forward out of that unit as he was a bona fide disrupter that we hadn't had for a few years.
I know Whitson didn't play much after the 1st quarter or so but I never saw him come limping off the field and never heard any type of sideline update that he was out. Anyone know what happened?
We are on pace to have 18 sacks with Whitson. Without him we will only have 9 which is lower than last year.
I watched every snap of both games on television and I've never heard either name until this thread. Granted, have small kids so i didn't actually hear much. That's just where we are these days ha.
