He is 89 years old in case anyone was wondering, born 8/7/1935, so will be 90 at the start of the 2025 season
FINALLY. It was painfully hard to watch this guy since his stroke.
Yes, long overdue. Of course it is his and his family‘s personal choice, but it would’ve been nice to see him go out with some dignity instead of a mumbling incoherent mess.
The next "once great" commentator to exit before next season should be Dick Vitale -- his act is very, very stale.
It was like being subjected to a form of non-violent but highly effective torture.
