Lonnie has 2 for 2, I believe. And it was reported that Hoskins RSed last year so he has 3 to play 3.

Agree, DE probably gives him his best shot to play. When I first heard about him two words entered my mind...Ted Hendricks. I can dream can't I?
Hendricks isn't a comp for Calvin Taylor. Hendricks played outside linebacker in the NFL for the Raiders and several other teams. Kentucky lists Taylor at 6-9, 295 pounds. If you want a scary comp, think Too Tall Jones of the Cowboys, who was Taylor's size. Of course, Taylor has a long way to go. And Too Tall Jones played on the opposite side of Dallas' line from Harvey Martin, 1 of the greatest defensive ends to ever play the game. That helped. LOL!

Gaa isn't going to be 2nd ot... he's gonna start at OG. Hoskins is coming off 2 labrum injuries the last 3 years. He isn't contributing much this year.

My prediction for next year is that alvonte bell and kg Daniel become what we have missed since bud and z went pro... 2 guys that can put their hands in the dirt and get after it.

Unless you know something I don't, no decision has been made yet on where Leavitt will play. From what I have heard he still works out both inside and outside.

I don't know anything you don't, just thought that he was hailed as our answer at LT and now he is playing guard when that seemed to be a position of strength.

Seems like you'd have realized by now that stars don't matter. Although it seems like that's all you post about

LOL

Seems like by now you would have realized that overall stars do matter a great deal. There is a reason that teams that bring in a lot of four and five stars every year have very good teams almost every year. Of course there are huge misses in the ratings, both high and low, and some staffs are much better than others in finding players with potential that have been overlooked (and I really like our staffs ability to do this, along with Brooks) but at the end of the day to say stars are irrelevant is a huge mistake. You can't build a winning program in the SEC with two and three stars, that is what Brooks and Joker were forced to do--------how did it work out?

I just had GAA at OT since Leavitt didn't look like he could handle OT and I know the staff likes to rotate 2 units and we are short on tackles.

I had no idea Hoskins has been injured. That really changes things. I had high hopes for Daniel but he's produced next to nothing so far.

Circumstances have forced the staff's hand re Daniel. Should've taken a RS year as a fr but injuries forced him onto the field. Although he only played 3 games his fr year it looked like he'd be needed. This year he opened with a 4 game suspension then injuries to K Walker and Laster forced him to change positions, going from DE to OLB. I'd love to see them RS him and let him settle in at whatever position they think is best for his last 2 years.

The Hoskins surgeries are disconcerting.
