I can't remember ever being this excited about a QB coming into our program.

When John Bond first came into the program, he came off the bench in the first two games and provided a spark. By game three he was the starter until 4 years later.

Russell started practicing the first term of summer. I wouldn't be surprised if he's playing half the Jackson State game and starting by Auburn or later. Chris Relf would make a superb H-back or TE while Tyson Lee would be magnificient holding the clipboard on the sidelines, or signalling in the play.

...and think the youngster will lead Miss. State to great things.

But I will ask this of you honorable MSU fans... please do not piss all over Mr. Lee & Mr. Relf before the verdict is in.

Guess what? Mr. Lee is going to lead us to a bowl this year.

That's good news for all you sixpack posters who constantly ***** about how we are going to suck this fall while concurrently bragging about how you are willing to spend thousands of dollars to follow this team to distant away games.

He was sorta average under Croom. You have to think he'll improve substantially under Mullen and be a serviceable QB.
