You people are freaking idiots if you think 62 year old Les Miles would do ANYTHING as head coach at Kentucky
Wow, the man would bring his usually incompetent quarterbacking with 3 yards & a cloud of dust offense along with NONE of the 4 & 5 star elite Louisiana talent? Sign him up!!!!

so if this happens and LSU goes after Jimbo...what are the chances FSU gives Stoops a call about returning??Per Joe Schad of ESPN. Wow.

Yep. Jimbo isn't a fool. He knows that his only true competition in the ACC right now is clemson and has one of the best recruiting grounds in the country. If he did go to LSU, he would have to deal with great teams week after week. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if LSU goes after Chip Kelly or even another power 5 coach that has done good.I might be wrong but I don't think Jimbo will leave FSU for LSU. Not really a move up: same or better tradition at FSU, same or better recruiting grounds, same or better fanbase, same or better facilities, same or better pay, MUCH easier road to CFP in ACC than in SECW. Can't see the logic in leaving Tallahassee but stranger things have happened.
Louisiana might not produce as much as Florida....but LSU is THE only school in the state that is a choice! And outside programs do not have much luck getting Louisiana kids to turn down the homestate school and leave.and has one of the best recruiting grounds in the country.

True but Jimbo would have to compete with great teams week after week. He can stay put and compete for a championship almost every year.Louisiana might not produce as much as Florida....but LSU is THE only school in the state that is a choice! Have to admit, that's the first time I've seen the phrase "coaching prowess" in the same sentence with Les Miles' name. Maybe you're right and he's a great coach - but that's not the conventional thinking. Most consider him a great recruiter and motivator, and someone willing to take chances when others would not. Those are his strengths. X and O stuff, scheming, managing a game, understanding where the game is heading, etc. are his weaknesses....his coaching prowess alone...
UK should hire Miles immediately.
About none. I doubt FSU would even think about it based on what most have seen of Stoops' coaching ability. He could very well turn things around at UK with the upgrade in talent and added maturity next year and thereafter. But I think most AD's would look at how his teams have went downhill in the second half of last year and this (of course the schedule gets harder in SEC play), and would hold off to see how next year goes. I haven't seen his name mentioned as often here lately on the coaching lists as he was last year and early this year.so if this happens and LSU goes after Jimbo...what are the chances FSU gives Stoops a call about returning??
Vandy tape will haunt Stoops' upward mobility aspirations...About none. I doubt FSU would even think about it based on what most have seen of Stoops' coaching ability. I wouldn't throw the farm at Miles but I might at Chip Kelly, who will be available soon. Maybe we could get Phillie to buy out Stoops for us just to take Kelly of their hands. He is a college guy, clear and simple, just like the ole ball coach was.

Look at the man's results at Oky St - why would anyone with a brain or who has watched college football longer than a second think he would achieve greater at UK??
2001 Oklahoma State 4–7 2–6 5th (South)
2002 Oklahoma State 8–5 5–3 T–3rd (South) W Houston
2003 Oklahoma State 9–4 5–3 3rd (South) L Cotton
2004 Oklahoma State 7–5 4–4 5th (South) L Alamo

Miles hired Steve Kragthorpe as his OC, and recruited Teddy Bridgewater as a DB. He's always had amazing talent to work with, and horrible judgement.

Why do fans keep saying Chip K is returning to NCAA? Was there an announcement?
Who needs greater. A four year stretch of Kentucky football that good is currently beyond the imagination.
