And miles cannot tell time/anticipate howmuch time playswill take.Add on tothat the fact that helacks the ability tohave 2 plays called to be run in succesion, in case the first doesn't get the td.
But since we're on the subject:
After OM last year and Tennessee this year I don't see how they can put up with too much more of his "Madhatter" playcalling (or lack thereof) and his abominable clock management. I know the buyout is very, very high and I've heard that they are taking pretty large bullets to the chestin the athletic budget next year so it seems unlikely that he will be jobless by season's end, but damn, those crazy cajuns must be frenzied for a better quality of a coach. Les Miles seems like a good MAC, Big East, Big 12 coach, but he is currently on the top of the food chain when talking FBS conferences. Not only that,he'sat one of the top 10programs in the nation, footballically speaking, andhe is not playing tigerbait football the way the would like him to: winning bya large margin and winning big games.
Sorry in advancefor the stupidity. They seem, to me anyway, like the rich man's bowl season Croom team; defense continues to carry them and offense sputters but they have more points at the end of the ball game and that is all that matters.
I wouldn't be utterlyshocked if they found a way to replace him, butunfortunately for tiger fans it looks as if he'll be there in 2011.
