<font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial">"Anytime you have a quarterback that has the abilites that Cam Newton has, it's the best numbered run there is," Miles said.</font></p>

<font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial">"If you take a spy and play him up and in, you're getting blocked. If you take a spy and play him in the center of the field and allow thedeception in the perimeter to be divided, can you tackle Cam Newton in a position where you stop him from being a first down carry.</font></p>

<font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial">"It becomes a very difficult situation to put one guy on Cam Newton. It just doesn't seem to pay any dividends to me."</font></p>

<font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial">When asked how he would defend Newton otherwise, Miles responded, "If I could have a spy no one could see, a guy on the field that didn't count, that would be a great answer</font>."</p>

Newton only had 70 or so yard against State.Plus they only scored 17 points. IfNewton onlyhas 70 to 75 yard rushing against LSU then Auburn will lose. I think Diaz had the right game plan and LSU has a lot more talent on defense. </p>

our defense gave us every chance in the world to take down Auburn but our offense just didn't get the job done against a very mediocre Auburn defense. We had one decent drive against Auburn all night (the first of the second half) and that just wasn't good enough. The other TD we got that night was a gift from the Auburn punt returner. It really is a shame we held Cam and the Auburn offense in check the way we did yet still lost. Of course back then, for some unexplainable reason, we were trying to use Relf as a predominantly drop back passer.

so does this mean they will be introducing their green jerseys with white numbers? Maybe they could get nike to add hash marks to further camo their players. Then again just pull a play from UT's defensive playbook and put 12 on the field.
