although at times they had more.. I didn't think that was legal... plus an LSU lineman took off his helmet and threw it while the ball was still live on the ground

During the confusionwhen the clock was ticking away , at one pointLSU had at least 14 men on the field. Somehow They were the ones to have 11 when the ball was snapped and UT had 13. I can't believe that LSUwound up having the right number on the field when it looked like they had about 6 guys who didn't know if They were supposed to be out there or not.

Something must have looked strange when he went to read the defense.....13 players.....I would not want to be the person in charge of that defensive change. doesnt someone make sure you dont have 13 on the field?</p>

ball appeared to be covered & dead by the time the LSU player took off his helmet & slammed it down. I think that since the game was technically over at that point, then he would be allowed to remove his helmet on the field of play.

/not sure about any of this, just my impression after watching the replay.
