Looks like the Giants are way ahead of schedule. And by ahead of schedule I mean they've chosen to self destruct in the 1st quarter instead of the 4th.
I thought teams weren’t supposed to pay big money for a RB, yet the Giants paid top dollar for Daniel Jones who is basically a second RB.

oh this is gonna be glorious. Not the Giants failures, but the Cowboys over-hype that's gonna happen. It's already happening. Collinsworth was already glowing about the cowboys D all game. Reality???? The giants OL is horrible (surprise....), the giants WILDLY over-achieved last year, and Dallas's O didn't look that great. Which is gonna make the yearly Dallas fall from grace SO much sweeter....

And the Eagles almost lost to a team that has Mac Jones playing QB and had 3 starting OL out? LMAO.

I can’t fault Saquon for the fumble last night. The Dallas defender was in his face the instant he caught the ball. He didn’t have a chance to tuck it.
I hope he averages a fumble a game just to spite them.

As a Jets fan I hope all the bad karma was used by the Giants last night and that tonight with it being the 9-11 anniversary the Jets have the opposite week one result. But being week one who knows.

1-0? ??

1-0, 1-0, 1-0??
Never said they weren’t 1-0. But you were dissing the Cowboys after they demolished the Giants right? I loved listening to Reddick blaming the field conditions for not getting a sack in the Super Bowl. Another poster suggested that the field conditions may have contributed to the Eagles lack of pass rush against the Pats who had 3 starters out on the OL. Perhaps you missed the Cowboys getting 7 sacks and constant pressure against the Giants’ starting OL in a steady and sometimes heavy rain last night. As a long time Cowboys fan I recognize it’s a long season and anything can happen (they blew out the Vikings last year and lost in the second round of the playoffs) but you coming on here to diss the Cowboys after they put a butt kicking on the Giants is why there is nothing more insufferable than some Eagles’ fans.

I have your back. It’s hard to make conclusions either way after week 1. The Cowboys will be a playoff team this year. That’s pretty obvious barring big injuries. The same should hold true for the Eagles. It’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Agree. Saquon never had possession. ESPN and nf..com report that it counts as an interception. Gotta feel sorry for Saquon playing on that train wreck of a team

Did he even have possession of it? I was leaning towards no.

not ONCE did I diss the cowboys. I dissed the fans and and media and their constant over-hyping of the team. but go ahead man, keep hyping them up. it's worked so well for you for the last 28 years.

NOW......

if you want to have a legitimate conversation about what occurred yesterday, i'm all for it. The Cowboys D looked really good against the Giants, a team that a lot of people picked to finish last in the NFC-E, with a notoriously terrible OL and a QB who is.... well he's bad. and Yes, the eagles didn't look great against a similar OL situation and Mac Jones (who is who knows with BOB as his OC). not so much on the D (pick-6 and fumble recovery) but on the O, where there was no rhythm and Hurts pressed too hard. Regarding Redick, yeah, he didnt' look like his 2022 self. I don't blame the conditions (because it's synthetic turf) I blame his thumb surgery that kept him out of most of training camp and pre-season. But at the end of the day, I agree 100% with you: IT WAS THE FIRST WEEK OF A 17 GAME SEASON. Just like there's no way Joe Burrow is gonna average 14-31 for 82 yards all season, nor is Tua going to average 28-45 for 466. There will be regression to the mean all throughout the NFL. But it's cool, if you want some eagles fans to be your boogeyman, that's what we're here for. I mean we threw things at santa (.... who was terribly drunk...... and clearly it was every eagles fan ever that threw things..... ) and we're clearly insufferable people for pointing out the yearly over-hyping of the Cowboys......

EDIT: sorry, the ad hominem wasn't necessary.
