Appo was pretty much as advertised, can't add much to what's already been said about them. One thing I thought was key in the Glenvar game, was Appo's best cover guy on Glenvar's best receiver. Totally took him out of the game. As for Galax, they have an offensive lineman, #69, that is one mean animal. People went on about the freshman running back, but #69 was the reason he, and the other backs had a big game. Galax was looking at 2nd and 3 just about all day. Galax should be a little concerned about their pass "D". Narrows isn't a real good passing team, but had guys open down the middle in key passing situations many times. Don't know enough about Chilhowie to comment on whether they can attack that or not. Galax made some mistakes for sure, but looked pretty solid on both sides of the ball.
