Yes, the source is an Arkansas State player's facebook page, but work with me here.

According to the facebook and twitter page of Arkansas State football player Artez Brown and twitter feed of Red Wolf kicker Ryan Willbourn, former Little Rock Christian and Auburn running back Michael Dyer is transferring to Arkansas State.

Dyer was a five-star prospect on Rivals.com coming out of high school, and played a significant role on the Tigers national championship team in 2010.

There is speculation that Dyer and Arkansas State will appeal to the NCAA for a hardship waiver due to the health of a family member. If granted, Dyer could receive immediate eligibility to play for the Red Wolves in 2012.

Dyer ran for 1,093 and five touchdowns as a freshman, while rushing for 1,242 yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore for the Tigers

Good thing for them they've got TJ Yeldon coming in. .....

...... wait, whut?

I'm pretty well connected within Auburn and I live in Auburn, so most of the stuff I get from my sources and hear down here are pretty legit. Glad this one panned out, and to me it validates what I said about Malzahn covering up Dyer's failed drug tests. I think Auburn said both of you get the hell out and we won't worry about it.

And I will echo what others have said now. If we can't beat Auburn next year I will be pissed. Terrible QB situation with Trotter probably transferring from what I hear and Frazier/Mosley battling for the starting spot, best player on the team in Dyer leaving, no Malzahn, new DC, and we get them at home. If we can't do it next year we should pretty upset with the team. I think from top to bottom next year we will have more talent than Auburn. Besides maybe the OL, I don't see another spot on the field wherethey will be better than us.</p>
