MSU should be the easy choice for him, Conner and the JUCO WRs....

the WR speaks for itself. A guy like Rumph could be a one and done with Russell throwing to him and the veteran OL we'll have. RBs have traditionally fared well at MSU (Dixon, Ballard, and now Perkins showing out). With most of our defensive backfield going to the NFL, that's a pretty good sell for Shumpert and Conner, whatever position they may play out of RB or DB.

I think you overestimate Rumph. I went to Holmes last year and saw every game of his. He's a nice prospect with great size but he isn't particularly fast and his hands are inconsistent. He'll make a great catch one play, and turn around and drop a screen thrown right at him the next.
