Let's Design Some Flags

I just got back from a eight day road trip west. That could be our national flag. Also once you get past Dallas there are no Waffle House eateries on I-20 or I-10.
I like this, but seriously unless "In God We Trust" is buried in the state seal I'm afraid the flag will be back in the headlines again.
Maybe someone will come up with a slick design that has a very small state seal rather than one that makes the whole flag look crappy. If I had any creative or artistic talent, I'd start with Stennis and figure out a way to make the seal fit in a non-crappy way. Unfortunately, I only have sarcasm and cynicism to lean on so I'll just be judging other's efforts.
I think it's safe to say it will be, just like it is on Florida's flag.

What do the stars and stripes signify on the State Seal? I honestly don't know and can't find the info.
And State tree - check.
Not partial to it though. Nothing against In God We Trust but I think the state motto should be on there.

With the mocking bird being the state bird, I am afraid in the current environment, the US Marshalls will come and arrest my German Shepherd for ending the lives of a few of those dive bombing domestic terrorists.****
But Our resident Woodpecker is a beautiful specimen of a bird.
I thought the Sunflower was our State Flower and the Magnolia is our State Tree?
