After last season, I graded Lebby a “C”. He had no time to compete for free agents and fought an uphill battle to get to signing day. A special thanks to the SEC office for scheduling the toughest opponents in America. I give Lebby credit for doing about as well as anyone given the circumstances. More importantly, the team never quite on him. The Arky and Toledo games were totally embarrassing. Otherwise, we battled Florida, Texas, Georgia, TAMU and the Rebtards without a D-Line. Lebby owns the Tennessee loss.

It should not be overlooked how the 2025 team has not only upgraded significantly but also seems to have good chemistry. I have been impressed with each player that I have heard being interviewed. All are well spoken and present themselves in a good light. I have always been proud of how our student athletes represented MSU. Because there are no more “Student Athletes”, I no longer care about ‘class’ or sportsmanship. Justy win, baby.

EVERY talking head has repeatedly in the offseason said what a dumpster fire the BULLDOGS are and “will Lebby be fired after this year”? Let’s see how accurate those expectations were after the Egg Bowl.

Comparing high school/JC class this year, Kif signed 7 blue chippers (including one Gold Chipper) while Lebby signed six blue chippers.

Lame Kitten: The Portal King? This shows how inept and lazy the sports media is. Sage Ryan is the ONLY Blue Chip recruit out of high school signed by Whiffen Kiffin in this year portal class. Ryan had 21 starts in his four-yr career at LSU. WR’s Stribling and Wallace are very good signees but not high profile high schoolers. Otherwise, I don’t see any difference makers in this year’s signing class.

Taking a look at the free agents in this years’ MSU class, Lebby signed Gullette, Sylla, Bledsoe, Burroughs, Kromenhoek, Owens and Thompson. Each of these players could have gone ANYWHERE out of high school. None of these players have failed in their college careers. Add Bothwell, Jalen Smith, Manning + a half dozen Edge rushers and one can see what a good job Lebby and staff did to rebuild a poor Defense and add weapons on Offense. Can someone explain to me how Rebtard class ranked #3 while we were ranked much lower?

I like our team. My expectation is 5-7 this year with a chance for 6-6. Toss up games against Arizona State, Tennessee, Mizzou and Rebs will determine how much momentum we have heading to post season signing classes.

4 or less isn’t meeting expectations? I dunno, sounds high to me. Unless he fools around and doesn’t win 3, might as well keep him around. Give him a chance to pull a rabbit out of a hat, recruiting-wise.

I have given and Selmon hell since last season until about 4 weeks ago. I stop being negative and in wait and see mode. I watch games looking for both the negative and positive. Against USM I saw more positive than negative. I hope he wins and turns it around. I like Lebby and hope he can win. I will eat all the crow I have to if he does.

I love a good underdog story, and Lebby has the deck stacked against him. Nothing would make me happier than to see him and this program defy all odds and succeed over the next several years. Saturday can be the type of win to help us take off. Really hope we can find a way.

But I 100% took ASU -7

Lose me money, Dawgs. Nothing would make me happier.

All I’ll say is that if this team finds a way to 6-6, I’ll buy you and the rest of the sunshine crew here an $11 beer at one of our games next year because I don’t see it.

Cheers to all of you if Lebby makes me look like a clown, though

I think Bart and Charlie said it best on their podcast yesterday. This isn't a game that hurts Lebby too much with a loss, but a win could change the teams and his trajectory.

I imagine in about 56 hours or so, you'll regret wasting a couple of hours writing this.
