He had several good defensive possessions late in this game. He got called for a ******** foul with about a 1:30. He did a good job on D this game. Looked like he had a good attitude all game too.

We've bashed this kid for 3 years, but it's time to give this kid some credit. He played well this game.

played good defense at the end and the foul he got was NOT a foul. Biggest issue with Sid to me right now is that when he's rebounding he NEVER looks around for somebody to block out so people just jump right around him for the ball and Sid looking dumbfounded like he should have gotten an over the back foul. Somebody needs to instruct him that if you don't put your body on someone RARELY will they call over the back.

<div>I am pleased with points and rebounds, but</div><div>
</div>Points and rebounds only show half a players effort. Not trying to continually bash him, but if he would just put a snail's a** worth of effort into his defense (not rebounding) it would be him everyone talks about instead of Moultrie. Instead of footwork and body positioning, he's now just relaxing to stay out of foul trouble. Just compounding the problem.<div>
</div><div>If people want to criticize Stansbury you should focus on the lack of defensive fundamentals coached into Sid.</div>

and we came up with it. He's giving more and more effort every day. Less and less announcers harping on his lazyness. He may not have been particularly mobile on offense, but if he took a play off today, I didn't see it.

there is a nationally syndicated effort to make surestay-puftnever gets the benefit of the doubt. I hope somehow he can become neutral again because all of these BS fouls are going to deter him from giving maximum effort on the defense.</p>

It was inside of 2 minutes or so, and we had a chance at fast break points.

He's never going to be a tough hardnosed player, but if we can just get effort out of him on D and rebounding - we can take care of the rest. We got that today for the most part, and he had a positive attitude to boot.

I really liked what I saw today from him.
