Temple had an amazing season this year with inferior talent. They crushed Ped State and came so close to beating Notre Dame. Rhule can work wonders for our program. At the worst, he can't be worse than Flood.

I think 90% of his starting 22 are juniors and seniors - I think his first full year recruiting class are sophomores or redshirt freshman. I'd like to see how he does with a younger team made up of his guys - of course that may be too late.
Rutgers is not a better job than Temple right now. He will parlay his success into a pretty good job. Kyle Flood will be back at Rutgers next year if he wins 2 more games. Strictly financial but reality.
Rutgers is by far the better job than Temple. Not even close.
The problem is, however, that other programs will be after this guy, programs that might be more attractive than RU, and that's where RU may have problems getting him.
Temple makes the adjustments when thing mess up and they have have a bunch of Jersey kids on the team. Their OL gives their athletic and accurate QB chances to make plays.... RU is a way more valuable job than TU... I would love Matt and he already has college and pro experience in coaching. He obviously knows how to recruit the south Jersey kids...
This. He's also beaten 6 teams with a total of 10 wins this season. His overall record is 16-17 including this year. Beating Penn State in week 1 is his major achievement. Coming close to ND doesn't matter. Shoot, we played ND in the Pinstripe Bowl with an awful team and made it a game for 3 quarters.

He can make a lot more at a school who takes Football seriously if he wants to leave Temple.

The sad reality is people might think Rhule is small time but he's way out of our league right now for what we would ever spend.
Also I would take him any day over someone like Al Golden.

This.Reminds me of Turner Gill who everyone made out to be Bear Bryant after one decent year at UB. Where is Gill now, coaching some Div II team after falling flat on his face at Kansas or which ever sucker school hired him
