had the children of the person now sitting in the white house been called monkeys.......I would dare say that story would be front page on every liberal media outlet in the country and the person who published it would be charged with some federal crime....but because it's a liberal rag that ran it everything is right with the world......liberals will say and do ANYTHING to discredit conservatives but the same is not allowed to be true for the other side....life in an obama world....

And you people constantly complain about political correctness. Cruz had this coming. He thought he could use his two daughters as political props and nobody would have the balls top call him on it. His ad was tasteless. You probably haven't even seen it. here. judge for yourself....

cruz is by no means my choice....Jim Webb is and would be.....cruz is way too far out there.....just trying to point out the inequity that exists in today's media......it should never have made it past the first round of cuts...but it did....and I seem to recall Chelsea being "used" as a prop a few times also......and the Bush kids also....even the drunk one[cheers]

What inequity? This cartoon wasn't a racist. It was calling him out for using his kids. And he should be called out. The WP needs to grow a spine. PC run amok.

I agree that PC has run amok...and I agree that ALL media outlets need to grow a spine and leave children out of the discussion....they've got it bad enough already being the kids of politicians......enjoy your golf trip....going to go play today while it's still warm......Homestead Course...the one with the oldest !st tee in America

Well, I agree kids should be left out but Cruz used his kids for political purposes. And he did it in a very overt way. To me, calling that out is fair game. And his whining about it is faux outrage. He knew it was coming and he wants to be the victim.

I've never played the Old Course at the Homestead. I've played the Cascades several times. And the Lower once but I guess it's history which is a crying shame. The last time I played Cascades was 2 summers ago and I managed to beat my son despite making double on the first 2 holes. Shot 74 so I played pretty well the last 16. Cascades is not a bombers course. He did manage to drive #3 but other than that, the Cascades kicked his ***. I remember on 3 when he pulled driver, I asked him what he was doing. There is absolutely no room to miss that green anywhere. Sure enough he knocked it on. His ball landed almost at the top of that bank in front of the green and hopped on. It was a helluva shot. But stupid. I bunted a hybrid out there to about 100 and made birdie the smart way. Is the Old Course worth going out of my way to check out? I'm sure it's well maintained. And being another Flynn design, it must be pretty good. I'm looking forward to Streamsong this week but I'd rather play Cascades. Such a special place. That clubhouse is pretty cool too. And I'd love to bring my fishing pole out to that creek between 16 and 17.

Do you understand the difference between calling white people "monkeys" and black people that? Good Lord. I thought even the dumbest of individuals would understand the difference.

This happens all the time. Remember when Palin put her children in her ads and campaigning? Then one of her children became pregnant as a teen out of wedlock? She was promoting "family values" and then that happened and people put it out there nationally and she got pissed saying her family should be off limits. Really? Fair game.

the old course has 6 of each....par 3, 4 and 5.....it's also the sister resort to where my son works....I never got to play the Lower...and the bike trail sucks....poor judgement on the part of the Omni Corp......you should try to play Bedford Springs someday...really nice track...sorry for punctuation mistakes....sending this on cellphone while on the road.....I almost made a one on that long downhill par 3 at the Cascades last year.....about 4 inches

there is no difference when you are calling people names...unless you are a liberal, which you obviously are.....you should be careful who you call dumb.....you must have a lot of mirrors in your house

Amazing that those who are defending WP are the ones who are first to scream "racist" when the rest of us even use the heretofore acceptable and preferred term "black" as being racist. Then they stupidly attempt to justify their PC position. How can they even remotely expect to receive any respect for their position in discussion on race matters? Just too fuking unreal and unbelievable to demand respect.

Really? Hey Einstein, monkey can be used in a racist way. And it can be used in a non racist way. just like a lot of racial slurs. I'll never forget one of my black classmates once told me that he was called a coon by someone. he said that he'd never heard that word used in a racist way-wasn't aware that it was used as a slur and he asked me if I'd ever heard it used that way. Unfortunately, I had to admit that i had. If Cruz was Black and then the use of monkey could undoubtedly be considered racist. But since he isn't and that word is not used to disparage hispanics, then there was nothing wrong with its use in that context. Not surprised that a moron and avowed racist such as yourself can't discern the difference.

i just love how you all get to move the goal line whenever you want to suit whatever needs you desire. Even better coming from an antisemitic jackass like yourself.

If you play the Old Course as a par 70 instead of a 72, it's a great course.

The only way you know what terms I use in special meetings is to be in attendance, Bubba. Do you have the intestinal fortitude to stand up in the meetings and question the usage. How many special meetings have you attended?

Were you just being a liar when you referred to the speech at special meetings? Are you really this stupid? That is rhetorically, I have already seen the proof. Hehe, and he probably votes to keep his checks flowing.

No, I like some conservatives. I don't like racists, homophobes, and ethnocentric people. Most of those are conservatives. Go figure. [thumbsup]

Congrats on finances. It takes a hell of a load off when you feel financially comfortable, I assure you.

Do you remember "Sticks and stones"? Spoken words can be misleading as to the measure of a man. And, I could give a **** about what anyone thinks of another from exchanges on this social medium. All for amusement.
