Looks good other then chancellor I agree. The chargers have a lot of work to do on defense before I can see that happening.

The only problem with your east is you have 3 teams from one side and only 1 from the other. East playoffs are separated by conferences.. Louisa, Dinwiddie and Chancellor are on the same side. I believe the playoff format is the same as last year.

Thought they ranked them 1 thru 16 and played a tournament regardless of district

Nope, the East is divided into two "pods", one for Conferences 17 & 18 and one for Conferences 19 & 20. Each "pod" is seeded 1-8 and then they cross in the state quarterfinals.

Only 12 teams in West. Believe top four get bye. Top four will probably be Woodgrove. Amherst, Salem, Pulaski. But it all changes if Pulaski beats Salem last regular season game of year

You get your wish starting next season, (tentatively). The four Regions, which are essentially the Pods, will rotate each year. FYI, Region A plays down to a state semi-finalist against Region B, C vs D for the same end result. The next season A may meet C and B vs C. And so forth.

Just like the old N vs E or NW vs Central type deals that rotated every 2 years giving each region the home game

Yeah, I like it. I hope Regions C and D will opt for the eight team per region format for football. I hate the fact that the two halves of the state produce a state title contender using a different process. Can you imagine the AFC and the NFC using different formats?

I think the consensus for most of the other sports is "all in" for playoffs. There is some brainstorming to still be done, but the ideas put forth so far look sound.
