Lets say we do win Saturday (unlikely), does your wool regrow a little bit?

because I would think only the most delusional of our fans would have thought there was anything but the remotest of chances that we were going to beat Auburn and LSU in back-to-back weeks.

That just means we didn't execute against Auburn or possibly they are better than a lot of people think, or possibly LSU is a lot worse than people think. Either way, this shouldn't be a win for us and shouldn't be a close game really either. I would feel really good about beating UGA either way if we win Saturday.

If we beat LSU in Baton Rouge, at night, to open their home season.... yeah I'll be woolly for sure.

The fanbase is desperate to see our team start beating teams that we typically lose to. And playing them close has gotten stale. I need a W.

Look at teams that have won in Death Valley in the last 10 years:
2009 - Florida (13-1)
2008 - Georgia (10-3)
2008 - The team who has LSU as the "real" rival (9-4)
2007 - Arkansas (8-5)
2005 - Tennessee (5-6) The big Les Miles WTF this is the SEC game
2002 - Alabama (10-3)
2001 - Florida (10-2)
2001 - Their rival (7-4)
2000 - UAB (7-4) WTF Nick?

With the exception of that Tennessee team, the outlook for the season would be pretty damn good after a Death Valley win.
