Football decision made legacy choice easy one

As
I read the article in the Aug. 2 edition of the Daily Journal about the
person from Oregon who is about to become a football player for the
University of Mississippi, the words “win at all cost” kept popping into
my mind. It appears to me that Ole Miss is more interested in winning
football games than in maintaining its integrity. I must say that right
now I am ashamed to be an alumnus of the University of Mississippi.

I
have been working with the Create Foundation toward creating a
scholarship endowment in honor of my wife and my two daughters. Since I
am an alumnus of both the University of Mississippi and Florida State
University, I was having difficulty deciding which University should be
designated for the Endowment. The article in today's Daily Journal made
the decision easy.

Does that guy know how many athletes are paid and get away with **** at Florida State? I hate the f*ck out of Ole Miss, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with what they did. Integrity doesn't write checks, extend contracts, or fill up stadiums. Winning does. Masoli is small potatoes compared to criminals in the general sense. Hope that guy feels righteous about his ignorance.

completely united on the Masoli issue. I have heard several UM fans complain about how bad it makes them look and they
are not for it. With that said I would put the number at 70% for Masoli.

I am hearing from the old fart club (50 plus) of which I am a new member. Old school thought is not as enamoured with the "Lyin Hawaiian" as the younger crowd.

If Masoli comes in and Ole Miss wins 9 or 10 games nobody will give 2 ***** about Nutt taking Masoli... If Masoli comes in and they go 6-6, 7-5 or under .500, Nutt will catch hell for taking Masoli and will probably have a cluster 17ed locker room to deal with. Then it wouldn't surprise me to see Nutt get the hell out of dodge before it becomes an Arkansas debacle all over again. </p>

It will be at 100%. And don't blame them. Hell, I am giving my UM friends a hard time about it, but tables turned, I would take him. He was heading into the season as one of the Heisman favorites at UofO. Because of my dislike of UM if am hoping he goes from contender to pretender.
