Liam McNeely...any updates on him ?

Last I heard he was looking like a UCONN lean but UK still in the mix.
Rob Bromley's discord is saying 90% UConn.
Well guess he wants to get beat by us in the tourney next year . Oh well onto the next one….
He'll be playing in the Jordan Brand All Star Game this weekend in NYC, then has an OV to UCONN on the 22-23rd.

I’ve heard we are definitely still in the mix and not to count us out with McNeely.
I think Hurley is FOS but he claims he doesn't discuss NBA or NIL.

Actually think he said if that's the first things out of a recruit/player in portal's mouth-they don't bother recruiting them.
UConn has a big head start on UK in this one, so if Pope could pull this out, that would be massively impressive. If not--then nobody should be upset, he was way behind and fact that Kentucky is being mentioned strongly still is very impressive.
UConn will have the lowest NIL offer if thats very important to him
Not sure where I saw/heard it, but isn't McNeely's big thing that he plays for a blue blood? I'm sure money factors in, but I would hope that UK can handily beat the Connies in that regard.
Brea, Shulga, McNeeley, Tyson, etc, hopefully we can get at least three of the best shooters in the portal. Good start with Chandler and Perry.
Don't like losing out to UConn. Maybe McNeeley and now they say Brea? Would feel better if we at least got one for two with them.

How do you feel about Jason Hart?
I don't like it either, but Hurley has a massive time advantage. If we get McNeely away from UConn, it could be the coup of the century.
He has commented several times about Hart
But he is a big fan and thinks he will do great here. Will be a elite recruiter for UK

Setting yourself up for disappointment here, he’s UCONN’s to lose. I have no dog in the fight, but I’d tell our fans the same thing. We have some that think he’s in play…barring Hurley slapping his mother he’ll be a husky.
I read Hurley did more than slap his mother. Wild what you read on the Internet.
