So, you support "hate speech"?

Absolutely, that is what the First Amendment is all about. Do you want to ban it? For UC, I think burning the American flag is hate speech. But everyone has a right to do it. Too many people died to protect that right.

You can't define hate speech except to say that anything that offends another person is hate speech.

I just asked him if he supports hate speech, he said "yes". Answered it for me. I don't support hate speech, but I didn't say I wanted it banned either. [winking]

Personally, however, someone being allowed to stand on public property and spill out words that are directed towards a certain race, ethnicity, religion, etc., in a very demeaning way is despicable.

I agree that that kind of speech would be despicable, but should not be banned and should not be reported to the police.
