PETA suing for copyright on behalf of a monkey that took a "selfie" with a camera on a tripod. Bizarro world.

My challenge to PETA, if they're serious about their mission: Go to Madrid, buy a ticket to the bull fights and root for the bull. Bullfighting is about as abusive and exploitative of animals as you can get. Go root for the bull, PETA.
I disagree, I lived in Spain for five and a half years and loved Bullfighting. A Bull raised for the ring will never see a human in a fight until six or seven years old, They are bred specifically for the ring and spend the years up until then living like kings. They are also butchered and given to the poor after being slain. Believe me, they get in their licks but ultimately will die as does all cattle, very quickly if the bullfighter knows what he is doing. If I had to be a bull I would vote to be a Murcia fighting Bull over beef cattle any day. And for the record, PETA is very active in Spain protesting against Bullfights, I saw them at every single one I attended and I went to hundreds. Ran with the Bulls in Pamplona three times also.

I'd feel safer running with them than rooting for them, but I reckon Spain has changed over the years (Crap! decades.) [laughing old guy emoji in this space]

That's really cool. Running with the bulls is on my bucket list.

Believe me, you don't run "with" them very long, they are much faster than Humans! I have to admit I was a wall hugger when they went passed, the really crazy people try and bang them on the head with rolled up newspapers, Lol. You are pretty safe as long as one doesn't get separated or you hit them on the one big turn. It actually happens in every town for their festivals, I have ran in a couple others in Alicante and Marbella. It is how they get the bulls from the pens on the outskirts of town into the ring for that nights fight.

That is cool that they butcher them and give them to the poor. I didn't know they did that.

Hadn't you heard of the guy who has the house specialty in Madrid and it was Bull testicles and it was delicious and quick a large meal. He came back the next year and the meal was very small. When he complained about the size of the portions, he was told,"Senior, the bull does not always lose!" [roll]

That would be the Torrejon Air Base group, I'm sure it amazes you that I lived in Spain for five years and have Spanish friends, I also have a lot of Hispanic friends I met in the military, you do know the difference right? what was your point exactly?
