You have to go back to last century to find a losing record for the Eagles. In 1999 they put up a 2-7 number. But since then, they have been on a tear. How about 142-44. And virtually every year they have been in the playoffs. Most years two or three games deep.
Last season the boys from Rt. 17 didn't quite rise to the standard they have established for themselves, finishing 6-5. They did however, keep their string of playoff appearances alive. GW showed them the door last November, 42-16.
I see a lot of really big kids on their roster for this fall. I'm not sure about the so called "skilled positions", (I hate that term, it's so wrong), but it looks like both the O and D lines will return some experienced players.
How about it, you guys from up in the horse country? Can we look for the Eagles to bounce back and make a real run in the playoffs? (I'm saying 7-3 regular season).
