Reduce you carbon footprint, starting now.

1. Greatly reduce the size of your home.
2. Install only green energy to supply your home. Cut off all electricity.
3. Drive only Tesla's or other electric vehicles (although you need to recognize that electricity generation uses fossil fuels).
4. Limit your driving because of number 3. Electric generation is still by and large run by fossil fuels.
5. Stop flying on any kind of aircraft.
6. Don't go boating or use any fossil fuel supplied equipment.

When you all do this, they you can preach to us about carbon footprint.

No, if you are a true believer, you will do this. Do your part. Until then, you are a hypocrite. If the planet is in crisis and you do nothing, you are as bad as the rest of us.

No, but then you're a hypocrite. If you believe the planet is being destroyed and do nothing or very little while preaching for others to sacrifice, then you're be disingenuous at best.

Is "WVPATX" Latin for "red herring?"

It is not a red herring. If you believe the planet is in jeopardy, don't you want to do something? If you don't, you're a hypocrite. Lead by example. Talk is cheap, very cheap.

Lots of people do lots of things. Ignoring all that and just pointing at someone and saying "Use less" is brainless. Ya know, unless someone is using nothing (which is impossible), they can always be hit with "Use less." It's mindless and just a way to distract from actual issues at hand. Kind of like a red herring.

Wait a minute. We are told all the time by alarmists that we must use less. Use less fossil fuels specifically.

All I am asking is for the true believers like you to step up and put your money, your actions, where your mouth is. It is interesting to me that the true believers in this thread don't seem to want to use less. Very interesting and enlightening.

Stop using fossil fuels or at least use dramatically less of them. You can do it, you don't need Paris. You can change your home. You can change how you travel. You can change how you live. Paris was voluntary. You don't need Paris to save the planet. Serve as an example to your neighbors and to the rest of us.

It's not realistic to not use fossil fuels, as you know.

And I do use less than I used to. But no matter how much I use, you can always say "Use less" until I'm using none, which isn't realistic. As you know.

It's all just a diversion tactic so you can avoid engaging the actual issues.

Is your home powered by solar energy? Are you using any thermal energy to power your home? Do you drive electric cars? Do you take mass transportation as often as possible instead of driving your car? Do you use fossil fueled powered equipment on vacation (which you can forego easily)? I suspect there is lots more you can do.

Talk is cheap.

Lol, who the **** is "us" ? You lead the mean girls club on here? And are you so stupid not to understand that "electricity" is neither green nor dirty? lol, it's how ya produce it. Why even debate you rubes.

I'd add

"log off all of your computers and stop posting on the internet"

CPU's and servers consume massive amounts of electricity, and collectively all of the Left's computers must make one Hell of a carbon footprint!

Turn 'em all off...no one will miss them anyway.

Electricity is produced. It is generated. What fuels are used to generate it? The vast majority are fossil fuels. So an electric car is still responsible for some level of fossil fuel usage. You house's electricity is responsible for some amount of fossil fuel usage. Nice try.
