Not that I have any idea which school he will choose, but he has had this thing on the square planned for a while. It would go complete against the current M.O. of our staff to have him move the announcement from Oxford if they thought he was going to commit to us. I would buy a jersey with Liggins number on it to wear for the next four year in spite of the anti-grown-men-wearing-jerseys bias.

I don't know a thing about his personality, but maybe he just likes to have a little fun. And what could be more fun than an announcement on the courthouse square in a small town ... so far as I know it's never been done before. Has sort of a Colonial feel to it. And Oxford IS his home town.<div>

It's the square in his hometown. Right now, it's MSU/LSU/UM all about equal as far as chances to sign him. I do know that if he wants to play QB in the SEC his best option is to sign with us. We'll see how serious he is when he says he wants to play QB.
